1. About Trader Quotes

Trader Quotes ("we", "us", "our") operates the website traderquotes.co.uk (the "Site"). We are a sole trader business operating in the United Kingdom.

Trader Quotes is a free lead generation and referral service. We collect enquiry information from homeowners and refer them to Bark.com, a third-party platform where vetted tradespeople can respond with quotes.

Trader Quotes is not a trades business, contractor, or employment agency. We do not carry out any physical work and are not party to any contract between a homeowner and a tradesperson.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site, or by submitting a quote request form, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Are a resident of the United Kingdom
• Have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy
• Have the authority to request work at the property address you provide

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

3. Our Service

The Trader Quotes service works as follows:

1. You submit a quote request form with details of the trade work you require
2. We pass your enquiry to Bark.com via our affiliate partnership
3. You are redirected to Bark.com where local tradespeople may respond to your request
4. Any subsequent communication, quoting, and contracting takes place directly on the Bark.com platform between you and the tradespeople

Our service is provided free of charge to homeowners. We receive a referral fee from Bark.com when a qualified lead is generated — this does not affect the price you pay for any trade work.

4. Your Obligations

When using our Site and submitting a quote request, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful and complete information including your real name, a valid email address, a working phone number, and the correct property address
• Not submit false, duplicate, or test enquiries
• Not use another person's contact details without their consent
• Not submit enquiries for properties you do not own or have no authority over
• Not use the Site for any commercial purpose other than obtaining genuine quotes for work at your own property

5. Third-Party Platforms

By submitting a quote request, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your enquiry details will be passed to Bark.com (operated by Bark.com Global Limited)
• Once redirected to Bark.com, your use of that platform is governed by Bark.com's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Trader Quotes has no control over the Bark.com platform, the tradespeople registered on it, or the outcomes of any interactions on it
• Our affiliate relationship with Bark.com via Awin is a commercial arrangement and does not constitute an endorsement of any specific tradesperson

6. No Guarantee of Work

Trader Quotes makes no guarantee that:

• Any tradespeople will respond to your enquiry
• Any quotes received will be competitive, accurate, or suitable for your needs
• Any tradesperson you contact through Bark.com will be available, qualified, or suitable for your specific job
• The work will be completed to your satisfaction

We strongly recommend that you independently verify any tradesperson's qualifications, insurance, and references before engaging them. For gas work, always check Gas Safe registration at gassaferegister.co.uk. For electrical work, use an NICEIC or NAPIT registered electrician.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Trader Quotes provides the Site and service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or the service
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any tradesperson you engage through Bark.com
• We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on information provided on the Site
• Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed £100

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that these terms cannot override.

8. Intellectual Property
